Looking for Perl based Unix terminal

    #!/usr/bin/perl -e 'xterm -e a_script.pl'

Well, I guess that's not GUI based.  :)

But seriously, I'm don't understand what you're asking for.  What
do you want the "GUI based ... perl program" to do besides spawn
perl scripts in an xterm?  Did you want to interface with these
scripts after starting them in an xterm?
